HYB 252-08-02 detects alkaline phosphatase from bovine samples.
HYB 252-08-02 has been successfully used in ELISA procedures. When alkaline phosphatase is coupled to streptavidin and immobilized to the solid phase in ELISA, HYB 252-08-02 binds strongly to the presented alkaline phosphatase.
The HYB 252-08-02 immunogen is alkaline phosphatase purified from calf intestine.
NOTE: Concentration is lot-dependent and can vary from 0.85-1.15 mg/mL
There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The intestinal alkaline phosphatase gene encodes a digestive brush-border enzyme. This enzyme is upregulated during small intestinal epithelial cell differentiation.
