Cyclopamine, is used as a hedgehog [Hh] signaling pathway and Smo inhibitor. It depletes stem-like cancer cells in glioblastoma and blocks tumor engraftment. Can also be used to induce differentiation of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) into hormone-expressing endocrine cells.

Solubility
Soluble in ethanol (5 mg/ml warm), DMSO (4 mg/ml), DMF (10 mg/ml), methylene chloride, chloroform, methanol (7 mg/ml), and benzene.

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Recommended storage temperature: 2 - 8°C. Keep away from strong oxidizing agents.
