Do you provide adapters / indexed adapters for ClaSeek Illumina technology?

For ClaSeek workflow, we do not provide Illumina compatible adapters and indexed adapters. Illumina compatible adapters should be acquired separately from a third-party supplier. Alternatively the MuSeek Illumina compatible kit (Cat. No. K1361) can be used, which includes adapter addition primers. For indexed libraries, MuSeek Indexing Set 1 (Cat. No. K1551) should be acquired.

Which sequencing platforms can I use with the ClaSeek Library Preparation Kits?

The ClaSeek Library Preparation Kit, Illumina Compatible, is validated for use on Illumina HiSeq and MiSeq sequencing platforms. The ClaSeek Library Preparation Kit, Ion Torrent compatible is suitable for construction of libraries for use on Ion PGM and Ion Proton Systems.

What is the difference between the ClaSeek technology and MuSeek technology?

The ClaSeek technology uses a classical NGS library preparation approach where physically fragmented DNA is end-repaired and platform-specific adapters are added through ligation reaction. MuSeek transposase-based technology simultaneously fragments intact DNA and adds MuA transposon derived DNA sequence which is further used for PCR-based adapter addition step.
