Can I use the IL-6 Human Ultrasensitive ELISA Kit (Cat. No. KHC0063, KHC0064, KHC0064C) to test tear samples?

We have not validated tear samples with the IL-6 Human Ultrasensitive ELISA Kit. If you would like to use tears with the kit, we recommend performing validation studies, including testing recovery and linearity. It is also important for your standard to have a similar protein matrix as your samples.

Can I use the IL-6 Human Ultrasensitive ELISA Kit (Cat. No. KHC0063, KHC0064, KHC0064C) with plasma?

We do not recommend using this kit to detect plasma. For optimal detection of IL-6 in plasma, we recommend that you use Human IL-6 ELISA Kit (Cat. No. KAC1261).
