MA1-21252 detects Filaggrin in Human samples.
MA1-21252 has been successfully used in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) procedures. Staining of formalin fixed tissues requires boiling tisse sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
MA1-21252 immunogen corresponds to Recombinant full length protein (Human).

Filaggrin is expressed only in well differentiated keratinized epithelial cells. The synthesis of filaggrin varies in types of ichthyosis, and with viral, premalignant and malignant conditions.
