Complement Factor B Antibody (MA1-72516) in WB
Western blot analysis of Complement Factor B in human plasma (15 µg). Samples were incubated with Complement Factor B Monoclonal Antibody (KT21) (Product # MA1-72516) with a dilution of 1 µg/mL, followed by conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody. CFB band was visualized using ECL Substrate.

This antibody can be used in an indirect ELISA (1 µg/mL) and as a capture antibody in sandwich ELISA (5 µg/mL).

Factor B is a component of the alternative complement pathway. The protein is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular mass of 93 kDa. Factor B is cleaved by factor D into the Ba component (30 kDa) and the Bb (63 kDa). Bb together with C3b forms the alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb.
