ZC3H8 Antibody (MA5-26969) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded human lymphoma tissue. To expose target proteins, heat-induced epitope retrieval by 1mM EDTA in 10mM Tris buffer (pH8.5) at 120°C for 3 min. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a ZC3H8 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-26969) at a dilution of 1:150.

Zinc-finger CCCH domain-containing protein 8 (ZC3H8) acts as a transcriptional repressor of the GATA3 promoter. It is a sequence-specific DNA-binding factor that binds to the 5'-AGGTCTC-3' sequence within the negative cis-acting element intronic regulatory region (IRR) of the GATA3 gene. ZC3H8 induces thymocyte apoptosis when overexpressed, which may indicate a role in regulation of thymocyte homeostasis.
