AGPAT9 Antibody (MA5-27208) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded human liver tissue. To expose target proteins, heat-induced epitope retrieval by 10mM citric buffer, pH6.0, 100°C for 10min. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a AGPAT9 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-27208) at a dilution of 1:500.

This gene encodes a member of the lysophosphatidic acid acyltransferase protein family. The encoded protein is an enzyme which catalyzes the conversion of glycerol-3-phosphate to lysophosphatidic acid in the synthesis of triacylglycerol. Multiple alternatively spliced variants, encoding the same protein, have been identified.
