Immunofluorescence staining of Human Cyclin A1 in Hela cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 1% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with Cyclin A1 Monoclonal Antibody (6) (Product # MA5-29092, 1:60) at 37°C 1 hour. Cyclins are regulatory subunits of the cyclin-dependent kinases (cdk's). They are expressed temporally to control transition at different specific phases of the cell cycle. In mammalian somatic cells, cyclin A is required for S-phase and passage through G2-phase.
