MED4 Antibody (MA5-42613) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of MED4 in paraffin-embedded human colon carcinoma. Samples were incubated with MED4 Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-42613) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Target Information
The Mediator is a multiprotein coactivator that is required by DNA-binding transcription factors for activation of polymerase II transcribed genes. MED4 appears to be a core Mediator subunit and is found in nearly all Mediator preparations (Sato et al., 2004).
