Clopidol is a veterinary drug that belongs to the chemical class of nitrobenzaldehydes. It is commonly used as an anticoccidial agent in poultry farming, which helps to control and prevent the spread of the parasitic disease coccidiosis. Clopidol works by inhibiting the growth and replication of the coccidia parasites in the gut of the birds. It is usually administered orally in the feed or drinking water of the poultry.
