Western blot analysis of IL-7 in various lysates. Samples were incubated with IL-7 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-50927) using a dilution of 2 µg/mL followed by HRP-Linked Caprine Anti-Mouse IgG secondary antibody at a dilution of 0.2 µg/mL. Lane 1: Rat Thymus lysate; Lane 2: Jurkat cell lysate.

Target Information
Interleukin 7 (IL-7) is a hematopoietic cytokine that is constitutively produced by stromal cells from the bone marrow and thymus. IL-7 signals through the IL-7R to promote the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells to lymphoid precursor cells, which give rise to T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells.
