Claudin 11 Antibody (MA5-52787) in WB
Western Blot analysis of Claudin 11. Total cell lysates (30 μg) from various cell lines were loaded and separated by SDS-PAGE. The blot was incubated with Claudin 11 recombinant monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-52786) with a dilution of 1:5,000, followed by HRP-conjugated goat anti-rabbit secondary antibody with a dilution of 1:20,000. Image was developed using FeQTM ECL Substrate Kit.

The claudin superfamily consists of many structurally related proteins in humans. These proteins, which include claudin 1 through 18, are important structural and functional components of tight junctions in paracellular transport. Claudins are located in both epithelial and endothelial cells in all tight junction-bearing tissues. Claudins, which consist of four trans-membrane domains and two extracellular loops, make up tight junction strands. Claudin-11 is an oligodendrocyte-specific protein that is expressed in the tight junctions of Sertoli cells and myelin sheaths in mice.
