PCBD1 Antibody (MA5-57541) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemical staining of PCBD1 in HepG2 cells using PCBD1 Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-57540) at a 1:1,1000 dilution. Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI; PCBD1 was stained magenta with Alexa Fluor® 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Medium. Scale bar: 20 μm.

PCBD1 encodes pterin-4 alpha-carbinolamine dehydratase, an enzyme involved in phenylalanine hydroxylation. A deficiency of this enzyme leads to hyperphenylalaninemia. The enzyme regulates the homodimerization of the transcription factor hepatocyte nuclear factor 1 (HNF1).
