Follicle Stimulating Hormone Antibody (MA5-58229) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Follicle Stimulating Hormone with paraffin-embedded Human pituitary gland tissue. The tissue was incubated with Follicle Stimulating Hormone Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody (Product # MA5-58230) using a 1:200 dilution (40x lens). High pressure antigen retrieval performed with 0.01M Tris-EDTA Buffer (pH 9.0) prior to staining.

Follicle-stimulatine hormone (FSH) is a member of the glycoprotein hormone family. Members of this family consist of an identical alpha subunit and a hormone-specific beta subunit. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding the same protein. FSH is secreted by gonadotropic cells in the pituitary gland and in conjunction with luteinizing hormone, induces egg and sperm production.
