MICA/MICB Antibody (MA570138) in WB
Western blot analysis of MICA/MICB in various lysates. Samples were incubated with MICA/MICB monoclonal antibody (Product # MA570138) using a dilution of 1:5,000 in primary antibody dilution (K1803) at 4°C overnight followed by Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at a dilution of 1:50,000 for 1 hour at room temperature. MICA encodes the higly polymorphic MHC (HLA) class I chain-related gene A. The protein product is expressed on the cell surface, although unlike canonical class I molecules does not seem to associate with beta-2-microglobulin. It is thought that MICA functions as a stress-induced antigen that is broadly recognized by intestinal epithelial gamma delta T cells.
