AKT3 Antibody (MA570471) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of AKT3 in C2C12 cells. Sample was incubated with AKT3 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA570471) at a dilution of 1:1,000. Nuclei were stained blue with DAPI and Alexa Fluor 647. Images were taken using Leica stellaris 5. Protein abundance based on laser Intensity and smart gain: Medium. Scale bar, 20 μm.

AKT3 (PKB gamma) has been shown to be stimulated by platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), insulin, and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1). It is involved in a wide variety of biological processes including cell proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, tumorigenesis, glycogen synthesis and glucose uptake. This kinase has been shown to be stimulated by platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), insulin, and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF1). Alternatively splice transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.
