Product Specific Information
PA1-24840 detects TGF beta 5 from amphibian samples. PA1-24840 will not react with porcine.
PA1-24840 has been successfully used in neutralization, inhibition assays, and Western blot procedures. Anti TGF beta 5 neutralizes the bioactivity of recombinant amphibian TGF beta 5 by inhibiting cell proliferation using the IL4 dependent mouse HT2 cell line.
The PA1-24840 immunogen is purified, recombinant amphibian TGF beta 5 expressed in Sf 21 insect cells.
