BRD7 Antibody (PA5-100009) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of BRD7 in HeLa cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and BRD7 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100009) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total BRD7.
Target Information
BRD7 acts both as coactivator and as corepressor. For example, it activates the Wnt signaling pathway in a DVL1-dependent manner by negatively regulating the GSK3B phosphotransferase activity. In addition, it is required for TP53-mediated cell-cycle arrest in response to oncogene activation. BRD7 promotes acetylation of TP53 at Lys-382, and thereby promotes efficient recruitment of TP53 to target promoters, inhibiting cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase.
