ZNF238 Antibody (PA5-100372) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of ZNF238 in HeLa cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and ZNF238 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100372) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

ZNF238 is the sequence-specific DNA-binding protein with transcriptional repression activity. ZNF238 binds the consensus DNA sequence 5'-[AC]ACATCTG[GT][AC]-3' which contains the E box core. ZNF238 may play a role in the organization of chromosomes in the nucleus.C2H2-type zinc finger proteins, such as ZNF238, act on the molecular level as transcriptional activators or repressors and are involved in chromatin assembly.
