DOC2B Antibody (PA5-100484) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of DOC2B in mouse kidney tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with DOC2B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-100484) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DOC2B.

There are at least two protein isoforms of the Double C2 protein, namely alpha and beta, which contain two C2-like domains. DOC2A and DOC2B are encoded by different genes; these genes are at times confused with the unrelated DAB2 gene which was initially named DOC-2. DOC2B is expressed ubiquitously and is suggested to be involved in Ca-dependent intracellular vesicle trafficking in various types of cells.
