ANKK1 Antibody (PA5-101209) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of ANKK1 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with ANKK1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-101209) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

靶标信息
ANKK1 serine/threonine kinase is a member of the RIPK family and is closely linked to the DRD2 gene. ANKK1 is closely linked to DRD2 gene on chr 11, and a well studied restriction fragment length polymorphism designated TaqIA, was originally associated with the DRD2 gene, however, later was determined to be located in exon 8 of ANKK1 gene, where it causes a nonconservative amino acid substitution. It is not clear if ANKK1 plays any role in neuropsychiatric disorders previously associated with Taq1A RFLP.
