P2Y8 Antibody (PA5-102237) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of P2Y8 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with P2Y8 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-102237) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

P2Y8 belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors, that are preferentially activated by adenosine and uridine nucleotides. The gene codifying for this protein is moderately expressed in undifferentiated HL60 cells, and is located at both chromosomes X and Y.
