Kallikrein 5 Antibody (PA5-102672) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Kallikrein 5 in mouse brain tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with Kallikrein 5 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-102672) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases and are implicated in carcinogenesis. A novel KLK gene, KLK12, is expressed in a variety of tissues including salivary gland, stomach, uterus, lung, thymus, prostate, colon, brain, thyroid, and trachea. It has applications as a novel cancer biomarker.
