PRKD2 Antibody (PA5-102887) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of PRKD2 in HepG2 cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and PRKD2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-102887) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

PRKD2 (PKD2) is a member of the protein kinase D serine/threonine protein kinase family. PRKD2 is a component in the signal transduction pathway induced by phorbol esters and the CCK b gastrin receptor. It exhibits the strongest homology to the serine threonine protein kinases PKD/PKC and PKCnu, particularly in the duplex zinc finger-like cysteine-rich motif, in the pleckstrin homology domain and in the protein kinase domain. In contrast, it shows only a low degree of sequence similarity to other members of the PKC family.
