ZNF306 Antibody (PA5-102903) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of ZNF306 in A549 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with ZNF306 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-102903) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Target Information
ZNF306 is a protein coding gene. Transcriptional factor that binds to the consensus sequence 5'-[GT][AG][AGT]GGGG-3' and acts as a repressor of autophagy. Specifically represses expression of genes involved in autophagy and lysosome biogenesis/function such as MAP1LC3B, ULK1 or WIPI2. Associates with chromatin at the ITGB4 and VEGF promoters. Also acts as a transcription activator and promotes cancer cell progression and/or migration in various tumors and myelomas.
