XPO4 Antibody (PA5-103019) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of XPO4 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with XPO4 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103019) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Nuclear transport receptors of karyopherin/importin-beta superfamily mediate various transport pathways between nucleus and cytoplasm. Exportin-4 is a novel mammalian member of this family. It is a RanGTP-binding protein consisting of N-terminal RanGTP-binding motif. It functions as a nuclear export receptor for eIF-5A and also might function as an export adapter in RNA export. It is also involved in nuclear export of Smad3 and regulation of Smad signaling.
