FGFBP3 Antibody (PA5-103412) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of FGFBP3 in A549 cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with FGFBP3 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103412) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

FGFBP3 is a heparin-binding protein which binds to FGF2, prevents binding of FGF2 to heparin and probably inhibits immobilization of FGF2 on extracellular matrix glycosaminoglycans, allowing its release and subsequent activation of FGFR signaling which leads to increased vascular permeability.
