B3GALT6 Antibody (PA5-103652) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of B3GALT6 in 3T3 cells. Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and B3GALT6 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103652) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 (red) and goat anti-mouse IgG Alexa Fluor 488 (green).

Antibody detects endogenous levels of total B3GALT6.
Target Information
B3GALT6, Beta-1, 3-galactosyltransferase that transfers galactose from UDP-galactose to substrates with a terminal beta-linked galactose residue. B3GALT6 has a preference for galactose-beta-1, 4-xylose that is found in the linker region of glycosaminoglycans, such as heparan sulfate and chondroitin sulfate. B3GALT6 has no activity towards substrates with terminal glucosamine or galactosamine residues.
