Immunofluorescent analysis of Phospho-JunB (Ser259) in HeLa cells(4h of LPS treatment). Samples were fixed with paraformaldehyde, permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked with 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), incubated with mouse anti-beta tubulin and Phospho-JunB (Ser259) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-104819) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr, 37°C), and followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG Alexa Fluor 594 ... Product Specific Information

Antibody detects endogenous levels of JunB only when phosphorylated at Serine 259.

          Target Information

JunB, a member of the Jun cellular oncogene family, is a basic region, leucine zipper transcription factor. It is involved in regulating gene activity following the primary growth factor response. JunB binds to the DNA sequence 5'-TGA[CG]TCA-3'. Cellular oncogenes play critical roles in cellular communication pathways that regulate growth, development, and differentiation.
