Phospho-FABP1 (Ser11) Antibody (PA5-105330) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded Phospho-FABP1 (Ser11) in rat liver tissue sections. Antigen retrieval was performed using citrate buffer. Samples were blocked with blocking buffer (1.5 hr, 22°C), incubated with Phospho-FABP1 (Ser11) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-105330) using a dilution of 1:100 (1.5 hr, 22°C), followed by HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of FABP1 only when phosphorylated at Ser11.
Target Information
FABP1 encodes the fatty acid binding protein found in liver. Fatty acid binding proteins are a family of small, highly conserved, cytoplasmic proteins that bind long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands. FABP1 and FABP6 (the ileal fatty acid binding protein) are also able to bind bile acids. It is thought that FABPs roles include fatty acid uptake, transport, and metabolism.
