Phospho-Creatine Kinase BB (Ser199) Antibody (PA5-106221) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Phospho-Creatine Kinase BB (Ser199) in mouse testis tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with Phospho-Creatine Kinase BB (Ser199) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106221) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of CKB only when phosphorylated at S199.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic enzyme involved in energy homeostasis. The encoded protein reversibly catalyzes the transfer of phosphate between ATP and various phosphogens such as creatine phosphate. It acts as a homodimer in brain as well as in other tissues, and as a heterodimer with a similar muscle isozyme in heart. The encoded protein is a member of the ATP:guanido phosphotransferase protein family. A pseudogene of this gene has been characterized.
