AP3B1 Antibody (PA5-106298) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of AP3B1 in rat stomach tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with AP3B1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-106298) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

AP3B1 is a protein that may play a role in organelle biogenesis associated with melanosomes, platelet dense granules, and lysosomes. Structurally, AP3B1 is part of the heterotetrameric AP-3 protein complex which interacts with the scaffolding protein clathrin. Mutations in AP3B1 are associated with Hermansky-Pudlak syndrome type 2.
