GPN1 Antibody (PA5-112202) in WB
Western Blot analysis of GPN1 using GPN1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112202) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane A: HL-60 whole cell lysate, Lane B: HeLa whole cell lysate, Lane C: U-251 MG whole cell lysate, (Lysates/proteins at 30 µg per lane). The secondary antibody used was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 42 kDa. Observed band size: 44 kDa.

Small GTPase required for proper nuclear import of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) (PubMed:20855544, PubMed:21768307). May act at an RNAP assembly step prior to nuclear import (PubMed:21768307). Forms an interface between the RNA polymerase II enzyme and chaperone/scaffolding proteins, suggesting that it is required to connect RNA polymerase II to regulators of protein complex formation (PubMed:17643375). May be involved in nuclear localization of XPA (PubMed:11058119).
