Aldolase C Antibody (PA5-112299) in WB
Western Blot analysis of Aldolase C using Aldolase C Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-112299) at a dilution of 1:500. Lane A: U87-MG whole cell lysate, Lane B: MCF-7 whole cell lysate, Lane C: Jurkat whole cell lysate, (Lysates/proteins at 30 µg per lane). The secondary antibody used was a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique and performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 39 kDa. Observed band size: 39 kDa.

This gene encodes a member of the class I fructose-biphosphate aldolase gene family. Expressed specifically in the hippocampus and Purkinje cells of the brain, the encoded protein is a glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the reversible aldol cleavage of fructose-1,6-biphosphate and fructose 1-phosphate to dihydroxyacetone phosphate and either glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate or glyceraldehyde, respectively.
