NCEH1 Antibody (PA5-114796) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of NCEH1 in HeLa cells. Samples were treated with PFA, permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, blocked in 10% serum (45 min at 25°C), and incubated with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114796) at a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C). Secondary staining was applied with mouse anti-beta tubulin; AlexaFluor 594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red); AlexaFluor 88 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) and DAPI (blue) using a dilution of 1:200 (1 hr at 37°C).

Neutral cholesterol ester hydrolase 1 (NCEH) also known as arylacetamide deacetylase-like 1 (AADACL1) or KIAA1363 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the NCEH1 gene. NCEH is an enzyme located in the endoplasmic reticulum. NCEH hydrolyzes 2-acetyl monoalkylglycerol ether, as part of an enzymatic pathway regulating the levels of platelet activating factor and lysophospholipids that may be involved in cancer development.
