ANKRD26 Antibody (PA5-114852) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of ANKRD26 in human brain tissue sections. Samples were treated with formaldehyde and treated with citrate buffer for antigen retrieval, blocked, and incubated (1.5 hours at 22°C) with polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-114852) at a dilution of 1:100. Secondary staining was applied with HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit.

ANKRD26 encodes a protein containing N-terminal ankyrin repeats which function in protein-protein interactions. Mutations in this gene are associated with autosomal dominant thrombocytopenia-2. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosome 7, 10, 13 and 16. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
