HIPK1 Antibody (PA5-115358) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of HIPK1 in human colorectal cancer. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with HIPK1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115358) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

HIPK1 phosphorylates homeodomain transcription factors and may also function as a co-repressor for homeodomain transcription factors. The protein encoded by HIPK1 belongs to the Ser/Thr family of protein kinases and HIPK subfamily. Alternative splicing results in four transcript variants encoding four distinct isoforms.
