HRH2 Antibody (PA5-115381) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of HRH2 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with HRH2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-115381) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

H2 Histamine Receptor stimulates adenylate cyclase activity and leads to the release of acids in the stomach. It is also involved in GI motility and intestinal secretion. Treatments for acid-peptic disorders are based on the inhibition of histamine H2 receptor activity. The 3-untranslated region may be involved in differential expression. Histamine H2 receptor has been reported to be expressed in bone marrow, brain, heart, lymph node, nose, placenta, spinal cord, and stomach. An EST has been isolated from a kidney library.
