MCC Antibody (PA5-118053) in WB
Western Blot using MCC Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-118053) at 1:500 dilution. Lane A: 293T Whole Cell Lysate, Lane B: A549 Whole Cell Lysate, Lane C: HepG2 Whole Cell Lysate. Lysates/proteins at 30 μg per lane. Secondary antibody: Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L)/HRP at 1:10,000 dilution. Developed using the ECL technique. Performed under reducing conditions. Predicted band size: 93 kDa. Observed band size: 95 kDa.

This gene is a candidate colorectal tumor suppressor gene that is thought to negatively regulate cell cycle progression. The orthologous gene in the mouse expresses a phosphoprotein associated with the plasma membrane and membrane organelles, and overexpression of the mouse protein inhibits entry into S phase. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
