Immunohistochemical analysis of GPR101 in Mouse testis tissue using a GPR101 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-118865). The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. The sample was then blocked and incubated with the primary antibody at 4°C overnight. An HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit antibody was used as the secondary antibody.

G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. Expression of GPR101 has been documented by Northern analysis in human hypothalamus, caudate, and putamen but not in thalamus, hippocampus, frontal cortex, or pons.
