MRE11 Antibody (PA5-120822) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of MRE11 in paraffin-embedded human esophageal cancer. Samples were incubated with MRE11 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-120822) using a dilution of 1:50 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

MRE11 (double-strand break repair protein MRE11) is a component of the MRN complex. This complex plays a central role in double-strand break repair, DNA recombination, maintenance of telomere integrity and meiosis. The complex possesses single-stranded endonuclease activity and double-strand-specific 3'-5' exonuclease activity which are provided by MRE11. RAD50 is required to bind DNA ends and hold them in close proximity. Mutations in the gene could result in ataxia-telangiectasia-like disorder 1.
