MCEE Antibody (PA5-23550) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of MCEE in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human hepatocarcinoma. Samples were incubated with MCEE polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-23550) followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Target Information
MCEE catalyzes the interconversion of D- and L-methylmalonyl-CoA during the degradation of branched chain amino acids. odd chain-length fatty acids, and other metabolites. Mutations in this gene result in methylmalonyl-CoA epimerase deficiency, which is presented as mild to moderate methylmalonic aciduria.
