ACADVL Antibody (PA5-78710) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of ACADVL in U2OS cells using ACADVL Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-78710). Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated with the primary antibody at 5 µg/mL. The protein encoded by this gene is targeted to the inner mitochondrial membrane where it catalyzes the first step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway. This acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase is specific to long-chain and very-long-chain fatty acids. A deficiency in this gene product reduces myocardial fatty acid beta-oxidation and is associated with cardiomyopathy. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
