GALK1 Antibody (PA5-80652) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescence staining of HG3C-GALK1 in MCF7 cells. Cells were fixed with 4% PFA, permeabilzed with 0.3% Triton X-100 in PBS, blocked with 10% serum, and incubated with GALK1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-80652, 1:1,000) at 4°C overnight. Then cells were stained with the Alexa Fluor®488-conjugated Goat Anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody (green). Positive staining was localized to cytoplasm.

靶标信息
Galactokinase is a major enzyme for the metabolism of galactose and its deficiency causes congenital cataracts in the adult population. GALK1 sequence shares the greatest level of conservation, 44. 5% identity with that from E. coli and 34. 6% amino acid identity with the product of the human GALK2 gene.
