DCAF6 Antibody (PA5-89724) in WB
Western blot analysis of DCAF6 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with DCAF6 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-89724) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 30s.

NRIP is a novel 860a.a nuclear protein consisting of seven conserved WD40 domains and one NLS motif. It binds to androgen and glucocorticoid receptors and up regulates their transcriptional activity, thereby functioning as a nuclear receptor coactivator. Role of NRIP has been implicated in cell growth and also in cervical and prostrate cancer thus indicating a therapeutic intervention. Northern Blot analysis detected a high expression of NRIP in skeletal muscle and testis and low expression in heart, prostrate and adrenal gland.
