Carboxypeptidase A2 Antibody (PA5-89787) in WB
Western blot analysis of Carboxypeptidase A2 in extracts of various cell lines. Samples were incubated with Carboxypeptidase A2 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-89787) using a dilution of 1:3,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Basic Kit. Exposure time: 15s.

Target Information
Three different forms of human pancreatic procarboxypeptidase A have been isolated. The encoded protein represents the A2 form, which is a monomeric protein with different biochemical properties from the A1 and A3 forms. The A2 form of pancreatic procarboxypeptidase acts on aromatic C-terminal residues and is a secreted protein.
