SFTPA1 Antibody (PA5-91942) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of SFTPA1 in paraffin-embedded human lung cancer. Samples were incubated with SFTPA1 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-91942) using a dilution of 1:50 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Target Information
Surfactant protein A is an innate immune system collectin. The gene encoding SP-A map to mouse chromosome 14. Surfactant protein-A, which plays a role in innate host defense in the lung, is also expressed in the Eustachian tube. We report that the frequency of specific surfactant protein-A haplotypes and genotypes differs between children with recurrent otitis media compared with a control population.
