Immunohistochemistry analysis of Phospho-SRF (Ser103) in paraffin-embedded human gastric cancer. Samples were incubated with Phospho-SRF (Ser103) Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-97416) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform microwave antigen retrieval with 10 mM Tris/EDTA buffer pH 9.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

Serum response factor (SRF) is a transcription factor that binds the serum response element (SRE), a sequence that mediates the transient response of many cellular genes to growth stimulation. SRF-binding sites are also constitutive promotor elements in many muscle-specific promotors. SFR is required for cardiac differentiation and maturation.
