Phospho-USF1 (Thr153) Antibody (PA5-99572) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of Phospho-USF1 (Thr153) in mouse brain tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with Phospho-USF1 (Thr153) polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-99572) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Antibody detects endogenous levels of USF1 only when phosphorylated at Thr153.

This gene encodes a member of the basic helix-loop-helix leucine zipper family, and can function as a cellular transcription factor. The encoded protein can activate transcription through pyrimidine-rich initiator (Inr) elements and E-box motifs. This gene has been linked to familial combined hyperlipidemia (FCHL). Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
